Infering in reading



This week in reading we were learning about inferring.

Infering is when you read a book and you make a guess and you might get question about the story and you have to answer by say something your idear the because and your other answer.

It’s important because it would help you understand the story.

We learned how to infer by reading a book call First World War mascots. I inferred by reading it. My teacher Mr Lunn gave us question. We answer by using keyword to aware the question correctly. It was a bit hard.

My leader baeden Barrett

Baeden Barrett is a rugby player. He has to brothers. They both play rugby. He is magnificent a rugby. He plays in the all blacks.

Firstly Baeden Barrett is selfless because he passes the ball and sets up tries. He set up awesome tries by cross kicking.

 Secoundly Baeden Barrett uses teamwork because it would make triffic tries.

Thirdly he teaches kid to be good at rugby. I know this because when I whatched the World Cup 2015 he scored a brilliant trie. I learned if you are small you can be like him.

Fourthly Baeden barrett celebrate great tries. I know this because I saw it on tv. He celebrates his tries and people in his teams tries. He also teaches me to celebrate my tries and people in my teams tries.

Lastly he is positive. I know this because when he is doing convention he thinks he can get it in. It works sometimes.

When I am older I hope I get in the all blacks. I hope i am a back. I hope I am number  10,11,12,13,14 and 15.

Epic Kelly tarltons



On the 8th of September we went to Kelly tarltons. The whole hub went,with parent helpers. We went because we are learning about cause and effect. We also went because we are under the sea for the school show.

We started in the golden zone. We did the roll. Then we went to the toilet and got our lunches. We put  our lunches in two spacil bags. In my group it was Zara and Melody. They where responsible for our lunches. Then our parent helper or teacher introduced themselves. Fanilly we went on the bus.

I managed to get a good set to me. It was a good set because there was a set in front of me and I could emahine it was a tackle bag. It took about 10-15 minutes. On the trip we waited for a traffic light to turn green. I waved at him and he waved back.

When we got there I saw a forest. I asked herring " do you want to live here when you are older" herring said "yes". We were so excited. We walked  into the room. When we got in there I saw a massive stingray. The teacher told us to stay with our parent.

First we went through the shark tunnel. I saw some much animals. When we got to the end we went up the stairs and I saw a puffer fish. It was so cute. Then I turned around I saw some eels. I walked to the side and I saw junormas lobsters. Then I turned around again and I saw rocky the octopus. He was Trina to exsape. Then we had lunch. Then we all walked to the spacil room. I was eating and apple and I finnesh it so I through it in the bin when I was walking. We all learned about by fishing. Then we went to see some sea houses. They were like tree branches. Then we went back through the shark tunnel. I saw some scuba diver. I waved at 4 scuba divers. 2 of them waved back. I also saw a school shark. I don't know why it is called a school shark. Then we moved back to the stingrays because they where going to be feed. We got to touch there stingers. It was made out of our teeth. Then we went in the megadon mouth we got our photo done. Then we went to the spinning tunnel. It made me sick. I saw lots of penguins. I saw one trieing to coocking it self. I also saw two baby penguins. They where so fluffy.i also saw a whole in a box. So I put my hand in there. It was so cold. Then we went back to the stingrays. We got ready to go back to school.

It was fun but they could have more animals.

Rainbow fish arts

Goal:
To make a rainbow fish  with paper.

Materials:


  • Printer
  • Defferent coulars of paper
  • Glue sticks
  • Glitter
  • Pencil
  • Siscores

Steps:

  1. Print a fish.
  2. Grab the pieces of paper you want.
  3. Rip the pieces into little bits.
  4. Glue all of them onto the fish.
  5. Make sure you can see no white gaps but were your eyes and mouths are.
  6. Grab the pencils.
  7. Coular the face in.
  8. If you want you can coular in the eyes and mouth.
  9. Then grab the siscores.
  10. Cut the fish so you can see no white gaps on you paper.
  11. HAVE FUN

Milky milk chocolate

Milk chocolate is better than dark chocolate.

It tast like mint chocolate,but it was milk flavoured.
Milk chocolate is made for kids because it is better to enjoy.
It may be smaller than dark chocolate but is is better.
Another reason is that baby's can eat the milk chocolate and not dark chocolate because it is petrid.
Every milk chocolate is great because it will not burn your tongue,and it is great for all ages. Also milk chocolate keeps toddler calm because it is refreshing
It looks brown but dark chocolate is darker.
It smells like milk. Milk chocolate is chunky not thick.

Everyone who like dark chocolate should like milk chocolate
Milk chocolate could go in the freezer and it might turn into an ice block

Super squid

Have  ever heard of calamari? It's the most awsomest food ever.

It smells like the sea and salt because it is from the salt water.

It feels squishy and slimey because squid is squishy.

When I bit it ,it sounds squeaky.

It looks stretchy but when you try to stretch it ,it is not stretchy.

It tast insane because it is hard to bit and I like to take my time on food I like.


Calamari is the best food ever so I think everyone should eat it.
Although I have been saying squid and calamari it is the same thing.

CrazyCornflour goo

We were learning how to use our senses and use complex and compound sentence. We learned how
To do this by playing with cornflour goo to know what we could wright about cornflour goo.

Cornflour goo is rough and hard.

Cornflour goo looks soft,thick and stretchy because it was not in a bowl. It can  be any colour.

It feels rough because when I first touched,it it was hard then it got soft.

Corn flour goo can not be heard another word is it is silent.

It smelled so disgusting like rotten eggs. It also smelled like a barthroom floor.

Cornflour goo taste disgusting. If I had some,I think I would vomit.
